Guess my time

These terms apply to every One More X "Guess my time" competition. The details for each race (the race, the benchmark time, the prize and the dates) are in the race schedule below. By entering, you agree to these terms.

Race schedule: current competition

1. The promoter

The promoter is One More X Pty Limited (ABN 17 702 697 112), Sydney NSW ("One More X", "we", "us"). You can contact us at jleys@onemorex.com.au, through the forms on onemorex.com.au, or by direct message to @onemore_x_ on Instagram.

2. Who can enter

1. Anyone can enter, wherever you live. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to enter.
2. JL (Joshua Leys), his immediate family, anyone who helps run the competition, and the person who set the benchmark time cannot enter.

3. How to enter

1. There are two ways to enter:
   • On the website: enter your guess, first name and a valid email address using the Guess my time form on onemorex.com.au. Your Instagram or TikTok handle is optional.
   • On Instagram: comment your guess on the official Guess my time post on @onemore_x_.
2. Comments on TikTok, YouTube or any other platform, and direct messages, are not entries.
3. Your guess must be written as hours, minutes and seconds (for example 1:24:30). Guesses we cannot clearly read as a time are not valid.
4. One guess per person per race, across both entry methods. If you enter more than once, only your first guess counts.
5. Entries must be received before entries close. Website entries are timed by our form system and Instagram entries by the time Instagram shows for the comment. We are not responsible for entries that are lost, late, hidden by a platform's spam filter, or not received because of technical problems.
6. Entry is free. You do not need to buy anything or follow any account to enter.

4. How the winner is decided

1. The winner is the entry whose guess is closest to JL's official finish time for the race, over or under, as published by the race organiser. If no official time is published, we will use the time on the race organiser's results or timing system, or failing that, JL's own timing device, and say which we used.
2. If two or more entries are equally close, the entry received first wins, based on the times recorded in section 3.
3. If JL does not start or does not finish the race, the winner is the entry closest to the benchmark time in the race schedule.
4. The decision of One More X is final, and we will not enter into correspondence about it.

5. The prize

1. The prize is set out in the race schedule. It cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred, and is subject to the gift card provider's terms, including any expiry date.
2. If the prize becomes unavailable, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

6. Contacting the winner

1. We will announce the winner by first name (and handle, if given) on Instagram and TikTok within 7 days of the race, and contact them by email (website entries) or Instagram direct message (Instagram entries).
2. If the winner does not reply within 14 days of our email, or is not eligible, the prize goes to the next closest eligible entry.
3. The prize will be sent by email (or by post if it is a physical card) within 28 days of the winner replying. Gift cards can only be used where the provider accepts them.

7. Publicity

By entering, you agree that if you win, we may publish your first name, your town or state and your social media handle (if given) in posts, videos and on our website announcing the result. We will not publish your email address.

8. Your personal information

1. We collect your name, email address and (if given) social media handle to run the competition and contact the winner. For Instagram entries we only use your handle, your comment and its time.
2. If you tick the box asking for emails before each race, we will also send you a short email before future races. You can unsubscribe at any time.
3. We do not sell or share your details. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and how to access or correct it.

9. Not run by the platforms or the race

This competition is run by One More X only. It is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, Rebel Sport, Paladin, HYROX or any race organiser.

10. General

1. We may disqualify any entry we reasonably believe is fraudulent, automated, or made in breach of these terms.
2. If something outside our control affects the competition (for example, the race is cancelled or postponed), we may change, suspend or cancel the competition, or move it to the rescheduled race, and will announce any change on Instagram and on this page.
3. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from the competition or the prize, except where caused by our negligence.
4. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
